So we left off last time with Mary being visited by Angel from The Most High.. Let’s pause right there for a minute. This alone should tell you Mary was special from birth.. scripture does say HE formed us in the womb.. Imagine that.. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee! Now Luke 1:29 says she was troubled, I imagine so! An angel comes to visit you... Mary was probably looking in Awe and also fear as to what is going here: Luke 30-34 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Yahshua (Jesus). He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Ok, so Mary is basically told she has been chosen out of all women in the world to carry The Son of the Highest, because she has found favor with Yah! Sisters, can you just let that marinate? So we know her parents were set apart people and raised her according to Proverbs 22:6, and we see Sis Mary did them proud.. Mary was a young virgin.. and she asked “ok, how is this gonna happened!! Because I have never been with a man (sexually) remember she is a virgin and engaged to be married. We know the kinda of thoughts she was having.. questions as to how, what.. BUT one question she already had the answer to.. the WHY! She was favored and found worthy to be chosen for a remarkable task.. brings me back to last week when we spoke on Yah chooses WHO HE chooses.. and in this case, Mary was the one. I know I asked myself this.. wow what did Mary do to receive such an honor... But was it to her... remember there is a part we haven’t gotten to... Joseph! What would he think... what would others think because remember, she wasn’t married yet! Why wouldn’t The Most High wait until after she was married? Why wouldn’t HE chose a woman who was already married? See, Mary chose to remain free from sin throughout her life. Sounds familiar? Remember Adam and Eve were also born without sin and we can safely say Mary was too because HIS son had to be conceived in a clean vessel. However unlike Eve, Mary never freely chose to sin throughout her life. Coincidence? I think know! This woman was bred to embody virtue. Not only as a daughter of her parents, BUT a Daughter of Yah...This made her the perfect vessel for the Son of The Most High, the one who would save His people. Her non tainted body and soul were perfect making her the perfect instrument to create a perfect lamb..
🛡Takeaway👉🏾 In a world full of Jezebels, be a Mary! Even though most of us are tainted and are not free of sin as she was.. it is NEVER TOO LATE to carry yourself as such. Start right now with the mindset that you are new, BUT there is a catch... Ya got to release thr old you to be new!!
