🍓Love is truly the answer to most things when you understand the true meaning of it. When I read 1 Cor 13:4-8 it basically is saying:
Listen‼️
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
In layman’s terms, IF we are going by the set apart definition...It means- in order To love, you MUST Be more patient! Be kind, be humble, AND. More importantly stop holding grudges! It’s not worth it as 1 Peter 4:8 boldly states: And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity SHALL cover the multitude of sins! We should forgive 70x7 ... and remember The Most High is not a respecter of persons and HIS time isn’t ours..
How to love? If u don’t know the FATHER.. u won’t know how to properly love and unfortunately stuck with the worldly meaning so there’s that.. which causes you to act up instead of approaching the situation in love, to be handled in love, with love.. you do the opposite.. and that will cause you to fail at the other fruits of the spirit! See you can’t NOT do one and expect to master the other! In order to even KNOW The Most High, one must love..(and to love HIM means to keep HIS commandments)...we must not only love yourselves but others.. (now u can love someone and dislike their actions.. look in the mirror and remember WHO extended that same courtesy to you) I have a task for you ... reread those scriptures below it will make much more since... of this task I have for you💕
1 John 4:8 - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:16 - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
📝Ready for the task? Here it it; to get a better grasp at 1 Cor 13:4-8.. you reallllly have to understand the Author..here’s a better way to put it (since HE is love):
The Most High is patient, HE is kind.
