#WomenOfTheScriptures ACT 3 Susanna

Shalom! I pray you all had a good Sabbath and Feast Days!! Please let me know how you all feel about these Women of THe Scriptures.. I want to keep them going if my sisters want thme!

Last we spoke, I asked..would you hold or fold when faced with persecution..Let's see what Sis Susanna did: Book of Susanna 1:24-44 With that Susanna cried with a loud voice: and the two elders cried out against her. Then ran the one, and opened the garden door. So when the servants of the house heard the cry in the garden, they rushed in at the privy door, to see what was done unto her. But when the elders had declared their matter, the servants were greatly ashamed: for there was never such a report made of Susanna. And it came to pass the next day, when the people were assembled to her husband Joacim, the two elders came also full of mischievous imagination against Susanna to put her to death; And said before the people, Send for Susanna, the daughter of Chelcias, Joacim's wife. And so they sent. So she came with her father and mother, her children, and all her kindred. Now Susanna was a very delicate woman, and beauteous to behold. And these wicked men commanded to uncover her face, (for she was covered) that they might be filled with her beauty. Therefore her friends and all that saw her wept. Then the two elders stood up in the midst of the people, and laid their hands upon her head. And she weeping looked up toward heaven: for her heart trusted in the Lord. And the elders said, As we walked in the garden alone, this woman came in with two maids, and shut the garden doors, and sent the maids away. Then a young man, who there was hid, came unto her, and lay with her. Then we that stood in a corner of the garden, seeing this wickedness, ran unto them. And when we saw them together, the man we could not hold: for he was stronger than we, and opened the door, and leaped out. But having taken this woman, we asked who the young man was, but she would not tell us: these things do we testify. Then the assembly believed them as those that were the elders and judges of the people: so they condemned her to death. Then Susanna cried out with a loud voice, and said, O everlasting God, that knowest the secrets, and knowest all things before they be: Thou knowest that they have borne false witness against me, and, behold, I must die; whereas I never did such things as these men have maliciously invented against me. And the Lord heard her voice. ...Who heard the cries of a woman? THE MOST HIGH! Which is why a woman can hinder her husband's prayer IF he is into folly and treating outside of the scripture. HE does equip men to judge small matters...BUT when mere men cant handle that task..HE does intervene..with The Messiah as a mediator.

Susanna has been accused. The wicked elders neared false witness on her..AND to add more insult to injury..it was like they violated her a second time [remember she was bathing the first time they barged in on her]. They demanded her to uncover her head..for those of you know...thats a big deal. So they wanted to bask in her beauty EVEN after they learned false witness 🤔... they began to tell their side..Susanna only cried out to The Most High for help..[2 Corinthians 4:8-12 ] no rebuttals. no appeals trying to prove her innocence. She just said, I didn't do this..these men know they are bearing false witness against me.. Because as we see the community believed these two well respected men EVEN in their wickedness. Script says: Then the assembly believed them as those that were the elders and judges of the people: so they condemned her to death...DEATH!! It was Torah.. so the sentence they imposed is lawful..Imagine paying for your sins immediately upon judgment from someone else.. think about that for a min.. 🤔BUT what does the scripture say?? Hmmm let's see! 🎯 Romans 12:17-21 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. 👉🏾Susanna did just that.. she didn't fold..but she chose to hold..hold on to her Faith in The Most High. Even her family, not husband spoke up for her in her defense at that moment. While, I am sure they wanted to.. but they too were silent as we see here..BUT someONE did hear the cry and accepted the call.. So, IF HE did it for Susanna, why don't you think HE would do the same for you?? When there is NOone else..HE will fight for you..BUT there is a catch... Even in the midst of wickedness..can you still find comfort in dying for RIGHTEOUSNESS? 🎬 Final Act: Susanna -Order in the Courts!! A RIGHTEOUS judgement-
