Before we can speak on serving. There are three things we have to settle first:
Defining serving as we know it today
Understand what The Most High demands from you according to the scriptures
Knowing the difference between the two.
💁🏾♀️Serve means to perform duties or services for another...now Serving is to apply the actual act of what it means to serve. Now, some may say oh I serve others daily! I serve food to this family I also serve as a taxi when I bring folks here or there. And eh, I understand that. That also is a method of serving!! BUT how does the scripture defines serving? We can’t say UNTIL we first build a real relationship with The Most High. Fact 1. Can’t be a good wife, sister, mother, aunt, cousin.. UNTIL you Seek out The Most High and build a relationship with HIM in order to master those tasks above, you have to learn how to SERVE your FATHER as HIS daughter first. IF you skip that step... you will eventually fail the other roles.
So how does one serve their FATHER:
First serving with NO intent for self gratification. You have to become selfless, humble, eager and of good cheer.. Let’s read a min.. Ephesians 6:7 - With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men. Are u dedicated? Romans 12:11 - Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. Is your heart really open to HIM: 1 Samuel 12:24 - Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great [things] he hath done for you. Are you glad to serve HIM with the intent of ONLY serving Your FATHER!...because that is all that matters at the stage of a daughter’s willingness to serve her FATHER. Now of course the intent is there to eventually serve others... BUT until you master serving HIM.. you will fail. So I ask again, are you happy to serve your FATHER? 2 Corinthians 9:7 - Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver... NOW this scripture should never be taken lightly: Matthew 6:24 - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve The Most High and mammon.. now where you going with this one sis, your desire to serve must FIRST be to The Most High, your FATHER! The other servitude comes eventually when u walk into the roles. 💡 How to start serving The Most High means you have to know what HE requires.. and to KNOW what HE requires you have to love HIM.. and by loving HIM that means keeping HIS commandments. #LetThatSinkIn
