On this day, Christians would honour the saints and pray for spirits who hadnât yet reached heaven... All Hallows" Eve. It originated from the pagan holiday honoring the dead. On All Hallows Eve, the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead was thin. It allowed the souls of the dead to come back to earth and walk among the living. Hallows Eve eventually became Halloween... now letâs see what the scripture says: đđžââď¸Deuteronomy 18:11 tells us do NOT even talk to the dead why? Ecclesiastes 9:5 - For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten
