🤲🏾 Serving with gladness 🤲🏾

🤷🏾‍♀️What is required to serve and how to serve others... and are you serving out of need, greed, or duty...

So many people are infused with a serve self mentality.. and it’s passed from generation to generation.. but truth is we were created to serve...(As required by our FATHER..)

📌Hebrews 6:10-12 - For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister...(go read the rest) 📌Colossians 3:23-24 - And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men..(check out the whole chapter)

📌1 Peter 4:9-11 - Use hospitality one to another without grudging ... The main requirement is having a desire to serve and serve with gladness KNOWING you are not only making The Most High proud..but also allowing your light to shine on others.. AND a plus is when illy are serving .. u feel really good inside.. which causes you to want to keep serving (if u aren’t doing it in vain or for self gratification)!! Serving just means to meet the needs or wants of others 2 Corinthians 9:12-13 - For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto The Most High. When you serve others, you are also serving HIM by doing HIS will (and HE rewards greatly for your service 2 Corinthians 9:7)

🤲🏾 Serving others:

There are different needs that will be met when serving different members of your family or congregation.. most times you get to know these ppl and understand how your service to them needs to be met. For instance, how you serve your husband is different than how you serve others. Outside of The Most High, he comes second so you would serve him accordingly (Ephesians 5:22-33). You would serve your children differently than you would serve other members of your circle. Their needs are different from that of your husband.
