✋ Now I am not literally physically condemning anyone who chooses to observe Xmas. I personally grew up celebrating it and have a number of fond memories spending time with family and the anticipation of gift-giving. But when it came time to seek out My FATHER's will, the most important thing is not how I, Channah feel about it. The most important thing is how HE feels about it. Especially, since HE put it directly in my face to see its NOT of HIM. After all, it's all about Him..Right? It's not supposed to be about us, the kids, unk, passa..whomever. It's about HIM. Right? Can we agree? 👀
So we see here in Matthew 15 that it's possible for a tradition to honor him with the lips, but actually be a vain thing that displeases Him. Just because it appears to give honor to Him doesn't mean that HE sees it that way. Because of these facts, and others to be discussed, it is virtually impossible for the birth of The Messiah to have occurred on December 25!!
No such festival as Xmas was ever heard of until the THIRD century, and not until the FOURTH century was far advanced did it gain much observance. The Yule log was considered the dead stock of Nimrod (or Tammuz, depending on the specific nation involved), deified as the sun god, but cut down by his enemies; the Xmas tree is Nimrod revived - the slain god come to life again.
