.. Could it be that we as believers often take care of ourselves last? Interestingly, though, the Bible even says, "...'You shall love your neighbor AS YOURSELF.'" Gal 5:14 So IF you proclaim to be righteous by keeping the laws, are you truly exhibiting those traits? Loving like you love yourself. Sure, we feel “they don’t deserve it” but think back to the time when you didn’t either! But ALL ESTEEM TO THE MOST HIGH for unconditional love. We love uncomfortably in public view.. yet behind closed doors we seek out ways to destroy each other. I say this.. Aren’t you glad The Messiah ain’t like is!!? He literally prayed for the same people who were fixna crucify Him in public.. He was lied on, betrayed, hated… yet He didn’t retaliate or even reciprocate.. He just loved with the hopes that they would follow His example.. whew that gets me emotional!
I often wonder how do some say “I shollll love The Most High.. yet don’t follow HIS directives.. WOE! Are we perfect!! No.. does HE forgive us over and over.. Yes. Does HE love us any less because of our flaws and brokenness? No! Then as followers of HIM, how do we do the opposite? And why does it not make us feel embarrassed when we hurt someone? 👉🏾1 John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a LIAR: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
In closing as We go forth in this new day of mercies and grace.. Love in real life .. unconditionally.. even if it’s uncomfortable.. when nobody watching .. or acknowledges.. that’s what you would want for yourself right? 💕
