.. and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. 2 Samuel 22:1–4
🎺David sang this song to The Most High when he was delivered from all of his enemies. Where others saw nothing, David saw the works of YAH in real time through the eyes of faith. When those around him did not believe, he could truthfully say: “I call upon AHBA , Who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
🤌🏾See this resonates with me sooo much! People I love have wished death upon me, preying for my downfall hoping I fail, and YAH just keep on keeping me! I felt David, because in his near fatalities with death, he appropriately describes YAH as the rock of his life over twelve times in the Psalms. Justifiably, he called YAH his rock because HE was!! HE his strength, his support, his defence, Who enabled him to subdue his enemies, and gave him victories in battles— just like HE does today— but do you even thank HIM for the times you didn't think you needed saving ❤️🏾 #MessageMessage
