Truth is, we need to examine ourselves according to 👉🏾What the bible does say is in Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
👉🏾So once again, when you or someone ask, what should I do?.. don't go with “well follow the heart”! You would be in error..by following traditions of man! It’s advice we’ve all heard and taken before in ignorance—While facing a hard decision 👉🏾someone tells you something like “trust yourself,” “go with your gut” or, the one that pains me the most, “just follow your heart.”
The phrases vary, but the advice is the same. In moments of confusion, we encourage one another to just do whatever we really want to do. And we know YAH is NOT the author of confusion! HE tells us exactly what to do! In Proverbs 4:23..YAH’s idea for our life is not that you would follow your heart, but that you would guard it. #Message
In closing: Y’all know I’m big on origins— where did follow your heart originate from? The origin of the phrase “follow your heart” is unclear, but there is an overwhelming worldly sense that this is the thing we should do when faced with difficult decisions. It is seemingly harmless and encouraging, but what is actually being communicated here? A bunch of folly!! What you should be communicated is, go read Proverbs 3:5–6, then take it to your Secret place.. offer to pray with them. But please understand that the heart like the tongue are powerful vessels..so be very cautious about what you are planted— because those seeds can take root! #message📣
