As we know Love is probably the most well-known fruit of the Spirit, but its definitely one of the most misunderstood and underrated. The reason is because many love with conditions and IF we are going by scripture.. 1 Cor 13:4-8 it definitely means that you are able to love someone who is difficult, undeserving in your eyes, a wrongdoer, ... etc! I Corinthians 13, sometimes I call it the all about love chapter, recites to us that love is patient, it doesnât boast.. that love is kind and love never fails. In this world of love tattoos we live in, love most time will often fail. We see it in marriages, families, relationships. Even as imperfect Children of The Most High, we often fail at love.
Who do you fail when you choose NOT to love: Outside of The Most High who is the most important, we could be failing a spouse, a family member, Eliana from up the street, or sis who jus passed you in Walmart.. The Bible says in Mark 12:31 to love your neighbor and while we can dig way deeper to define âneighborâ.. letâs simplify this: Who did the Messiah love? Arenât we to mimic His walk? How can we call ourselves related when we canât even relate to the one who displayed the most perfect walk? Think on those things as you go out the rest of your day and remember to challenge yourself to Love... Anyway!đ
