I think back to doing holidays and still being unfulfilled.. it was typically another day!! I stop doing holidays a few years prior to me coming into my faith!! For those who don't know-- Hanukkah is called the Feast of Dedication because it celebrates the Maccabees' victory over Greek oppression and the rededication of the Temple. Christ also kept this Holy Day (John 10:22) Therefore if we are striving to be Christ alike, shouldn't we keep it as well? Hmm, just a thought! Well today was a long day at work and I don't have many thoughts except I'm happy to know WHO I am and WHOSE I am! Loveth thine!
