ACT 2 ESTHER arrives and ..VASHTI ERR-REPLACEABLE!

Shalom sisters!

💞So, here is the king of course embarrassed and now he has to hear from people who are supposed to adhere to his commands: this is not acceptable and something must be done because what if other women think it is ok to totally disregard her husband's wishes? Esther 1:13- 22 Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king's manner toward all that knew law and judgment: And the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king's face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;) What SHALL we do unto the queen Vashti ACCORDING to LAW, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains? And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus. For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not. Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath. If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she. And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small. And the saying pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan: For he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people.

📜They set a decree to warn wives that they should respect their husbands..and that all men should be the ruler of their respective houses.. then boom and Vashti became the example, 👉🏾just like that was out of her role.. ok let's stop here for a minute..some sisters said, they understood why Vashti did not appear in front of the pompous King Ahasuerus because it was pointless and for stupid reasons, just to show her off. 🤔‼🤦🏾‍♀️ See, this is my main reason for this site, the calls, these posts because we have to step out of that "I am woman hear me roar" mindset.. U not supposed to be roaring sis.. u supposed to honor and respect ur husband WHO also is king of yalls home persay.. while I semi understand their reasonings..still, if my husband calls for me, I know he isnt trying to embarrass or put me in harm's way.. I am going, no questioning or ranting..EVEN if I dont understand why.. Why? Read 1 Cor 11:19.. We all have a role. And if ur husband is RIGHTEOUS he wont steer u wrong..

🤷🏾‍♀️..At this point, where did the king err? What law did he break by asking her to appear? [Remember Est 1: 9 says 9 Also Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house WHICH BELONGED to 👉🏾king Ahasuerus #caseclosed.

Ok, so let's start the next part with this: Romans 8:28 ALL things work for the good of those who love The Most High to them who are called according to HIS purpose!!!.. So Esther 2:18 After these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her. Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king: And let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hege the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given them: And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so. Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite; Who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away. And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter. So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.

💃🏽Esther enters the scene.. Let me share this scripture that is suited for where I am going with this: Esther 4:14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for SUCH a TIME as this?.. I know I jumped a bit.. but just remember that script for tomorrow..Here Esther finds out that she is among the other virgins who were called to the palace as a possible replacement for Vashti.. Can you imagine what she was thinking? She probably felt overwhelmed.. unworthy and scared. While others were probably wailing in on the idea of being queen..I am sure she was wondering what her purpose was...Altho she was obeident, I am sure she was looking it at this as to why me, what is the real purpose behind all of this. I can guarantee that she fully trusted in her head at the time, Mordecai who took her in after her parents died. But still, wouldn't you have questions? Here she sees Vashti get dismissed just for disobeying her husband [the same man Esther has gone to live with in the palace] ..The moral is while I am sure our husbands would not jus divorce us because we don't do what he says..BUT he could.. people look at adultery like it is just a physical thing.. BUT what about spiritual adultery? Remember this scripture my sisters: Deuteronomy 24:1When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some UNCLEANNESS in her: then let him write her a bill of DIVORCEMENT, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his houses. While some may see this as extreme..It is what can happen sis.. do you think Vashti thought she would be dismissed for just a simple thing in her mind?? Disrespect is one of the most destructive traits in most marriages..it leads to other things that cause separation.. Be cautious how you treat your husbands..

Next up..We see Esther's journey to Queen...
