Abigail-ACT 4: DILEMMAS [posted yesterday, but saved to drafts I assume!]

Shabbat Shalom!!! We almost done with Sis Abigail! This one will be short because it really focuses more on David... So we left up with Sis Abigail going to David pleading for him to rethink what he was about to do.. Now imagine what was running through her mind before going up there! I am sure she prayed for The Most High to give her the words to speak and David a heart to understand and an ear to hear.. her last words were ‼REMEMBER thine handmaid. [important..you will see this again!]

David I am sure was 1st surprised to see her and then when she spoke with wisdom I believe he was in awe... Here is what it says: 1 Samuel 25: 32-35 And David said to Abigail, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, which sent thee this day to meet me:  And blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand. For in very deed, as the Lord God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.  So David RECEIVED of her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person. David took heed and he blessed The Most High for sending her [important], then her for coming forth and stopping what could have been detrimental to his house in the long run. Abigail stopped David from avenging himself [Deuteronomy 32:35, Romans 12:17-19]! This is where I figured out why understanding was mentioned first when the scripture described her. Although this was the affairs of men.. Abigail went to show peace NOT discord. Unlike some women I see today.. When I was on social media I found that disgusting! When so called Hebrew women hopping in mens matter sowing discord.. But back to the scripture! Ok, I have read this chapter several times and each time I have an AHA moment! Notice verse 35- David did NOT accept Abigail gifts until AFTER he heard what she was talking about.. That is Torah sisters [Exodus 23:8].. very important that David was sure he was not taking a bribe or something that may cloud his judgement.. RIGHTEOUS ruling!! [James 1:17, 2 John 1:10] ♥️He sent Abigail in peace after blessing her, thanking her [remember this one.. this will be defined in the final act], and accepting her gift. Just a little nugget‼ UP NEXT 🎬 FINAL ACT 5: Every Battle is NOT meant to be fought...
